UCAT Online Mastery Course

Module 1. UCAT : Let’s Get Started

To ensure you are familiar with the UCAT we have created this initial introductory module.

This comprehensive introduction to the UCAT will aim to guide you through what to expect and giving you a thorough understanding of assessment.

Module 1.

In this first section you will cover:

  • What is the UCAT assessment

  • The format of the UCAT exam

  • What will be in the 5 sections of the assessment

  • How & when to register for the assessment

  • What is being assessed in the UCAT

  • How marks are calculated

Module 2. Get To Know The UCAT

In the ‘Get To Know’ module you will cover each of the five sections of the UCAT assessment, in depth.

For each section, there will be a full breakdown and analysis of what each section will be asking, detailed advice and guidance on how to answer questions from each of these sections and methods of deducing answers more efficiently.

You will cover:

  • Techniques to answer questions from each section including:

    • Section 1: Verbal reasoning

    • Section 2: Decision making

    • Section 3: Quantitative reasoning

    • Section 4: Abstract reasoning

    • Section 5: Situational judgement

  • Different styles of questions and how to approach these

  • Methodologies to breakdown complex questions

  • How to deduce what the question is asking for

  • Methods of increasing your efficiency

Module 3. Worked Solutions.

Learn through perfect practice and video guided tutorials.

Utilising the methodology, strategies and techniques from the previous sections, you’ll now go through:

  • Every section in the UCAT with guided working and explanation

  • Every question within each paper with a full voice recorded video tutorial

  • Learn every step taken to deduce solutions to complex questions

Here each section is covered and the tutor will ‘work out load’ to clarify the exact thought process in determining the correct answer. This is a fantastic way to understand the methods of how to solve the most difficult of questions.
